(1)

Mist
Mountains.

Mountains?

Mist?

(2)

Before the
rain and after
the rain

a broom left
in the weeded
clearing.

(3)

Driving into the
face of the mountain
opening from light
into light beyond.

1/

All these words
and all this
money and

so many
people and
so much else

and you stop
for a breath
of poem?

2/

You said it
As if you
were only

here to have
comfirmed the
word of it.

3/

It's the pause
after the
poem and

before one
word more is
uttered where

the meaning
occurs - when
you come in.
